1/2cupstrong brewed coffee, cooled to room temperature
1/4cupvanilla-flavored syrup
1/4cupheavy cream

Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cooled coffee and vanilla-flavored syrup. Whisk gently to ensure the syrup dissolves completely and the ingredients are well blended.
Take two glasses and fill them each about halfway with ice cubes to chill the drink thoroughly.
Divide the coffee mixture evenly between the glasses, pouring half the mixture into each.
Slowly pour 1/2 cup of eggnog into each glass, allowing the creamy eggnog to float on top of the coffee mixture without stirring too vigorously. This creates a beautiful layered effect.
In a separate small bowl, using a hand mixer or whisk, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. The cream should be light and fluffy but still hold its shape well.
Spoon a generous dollop of the whipped cream over each drink, allowing it to rest on top of the eggnog layer.
Finally, for a finishing touch, grate a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg over the whipped cream, adding a delightful aromatic touch.
Notes
Serve immediately with festive straws and consider adding a cinnamon stick for extra flavor.
