Instructions
In a medium saucepan, pour in the heavy cream and set over medium heat. Gently warm the cream, stirring occasionally, until it just starts to simmer on the edges; be cautious not to let it boil aggressively.
Once simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the finely chopped Kinder Chocolate to the hot cream. Allow it to sit undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes.
Using a whisk or a silicone spatula, gently stir the mixture in slow circles until the chocolate is completely melted and fully incorporated into the cream, creating a smooth and glossy texture.
Incorporate the softened butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of flaky sea salt into the ganache. Stir continuously until the butter melts completely and the mixture becomes luxurious and velvety.
Transfer the ganache to a heatproof bowl and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Stir it occasionally during this time to help it thicken to a perfect spreadable consistency.
Once the ganache has thickened to the desired texture, it is ready to be used as a sumptuous frosting for your favorite cakes or cupcakes.
Notes
For a beautiful finishing touch, drizzle melted Kinder Chocolate over the frosted cake or cupcakes and sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
