Instructions
Start by brewing a robust cup of espresso. Allow the espresso to cool to room temperature or place it in the refrigerator for a faster cooling process.
In a mixing jug, combine the cooled espresso with the milk, coffee-flavored syrup or chocolate syrup for a unique flavor, and vanilla extract. Whisk or stir the mixture well until all ingredients are fully blended and the syrup is dissolved.
Take two glasses and fill each one with ice cubes, making sure to pack the ice to keep your drink refreshingly chilled.
Carefully pour the espresso mixture over the ice in each glass, allowing the drink to cascade over the cubes for a layered effect.
With a gentle stir, combine the layers, ensuring the drink is thoroughly chilled and well mixed.
For an elegant finishing touch, garnish each drink with a handful of whole coffee beans or a light dusting of chocolate shavings on top.
Notes
For a unique twist, substitute coffee syrup with chocolate syrup.
